Project: Cocktail Zen
Cocktail Zen is my personal site. It's a social cocktail recipe site allowing users to add, share, and comment on cocktail recipes.
Description
Cocktail Zen is my personal website project that I've been working on for the last year. I planned, designed, developed the front-end and launched the site in mid-2010.
Cocktail Zen utilizes a lot of CSS3 techniques such as border-radius and gradients. Because of CSS3's abilities I was able to cut down on the use of images and create a very fast site. Using the Google Page Speed plugin in firefox I was able to get Cocktail Zen to a score of 96/100. To give some comparison, currently the Google homepage gets a 89/100.
